• Have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology as related to anesthesia.

• Have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters discreetly, and to ensure confidentiality guidelines are maintained by staff.Graduation from a program of Nurse Anesthesia education accredited by the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or its predecessor.
