Key Responsibilities

Industrial machinery mechanics,

Electrical and electronics installers and repairers install or repair a variety of electrical equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Diagnoses and troubleshooting issues arise during or after installation.
• Use a wide range of hand and power tools, including diagnostic tools.

Qualifications and skills

Proven experience in mechanical installation or a similar technical role.

Proficiency with various mechanical and diagnostic tools.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and understand technical documents like blueprints.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical stamina and dexterity for tasks like lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.

Familiarity with industrial safety standards.

A high school diploma or GED is typically required, with technical diplomas or certifications being a plus.

Physical demands

Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., 60-80 pounds).

Capacity to work in potentially uncomfortable positions like kneeling, crawling, or bending.

Willingness to work in various environments, which may not be temperature-controlled and could be indoor or outdoors.
