Internal Job Description (Shortened)\nThe Ultrasound Technologist performs a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams, including OB / GYN, vascular (venous / arterial), abdominal, small parts, biopsies, intra-cavity, and color Doppler. This role requires strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to ensure patient safety and comfort in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nProduce high-quality diagnostic images by selecting appropriate technical factors and following imaging protocols.\n\nVerify patient orders, obtain medical history, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort while identifying normal vs. abnormal findings.\n\nOperate and maintain ultrasound equipment, manage daily workflow, document findings, and report equipment issues.\n\nFollow proper sterilization techniques and maintain accurate logs, charts, and records in compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards.\n\nProvides excellent customer service and maintains high ethical and professional standards.
