Physician Hospitalist - Competitive Salary

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Nocturnist to join their hospitalist service. This position involves rounding on Adult and Pediatric patients (great mix for individual who wants inpatient work and ability to care for patients of all ages).

Highlights Include :

• Flexible scheduling of shifts – full time commitment is only 10-12 shifts (8p-8a)
• ICU management including rounding, running codes, vent management, and intubations
• Attend caesarian sections and round in the newborn nursery (NRP certification is required)
• Full scope of services – on-call specialists available by phone
• Nocturnist can expect to have 4-5 patient encounters per night with an average of 3-4 admits
• Ability to live in close proximity to Raleigh or Wilmington North Carolina
