Beverage Service Equipment Manager-CA

The Beverage Service Equipment Manager will be responsible for managing the inside service team and creating equipment BOLs, box and ship the equipment and assign equipment tickets. This position also repairs and refurbishes coffee, cappuccino, and tea brewing machines to prepare them for installation at client accounts. This role will need to have extensive knowledge in small electrical and plumbing mechanics. As a working manager, this role supports the West Coast region in a fast-growing Beverage Service market.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a growing team of inside technicians that produces and refurbishes beverage equipment
• Manage shipping and receiving, inventory, and ordering of equipment and parts to meet demand
• Enter and track inventory in inventory system, and perform cycle counts
• Determine root cause for failure of equipment
• Participate in Quality Control measures and provide feedback to Manager to support continuous quality improvement
• Work closely with service, supply chain, operations, and sales teams across the company and throughout the country, and foster a collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required, Associate's or Technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience in beverage equipment repair, refurbishment, or technical service roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisor capacity
• Strong knowledge of small electrical systems, plumbing mechanics, and troubleshooting techniques
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex coffee and tea beverage brewing equipment or similar
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Motivated to grow and expand in a dynamic environment
• Hands-on leader and coach with the ability to motivate teams
• Must possess problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office required; experience with Microsoft Great Plains preferred
• Ability to sit, stand, bend for long periods of time, Ability to climb step ladders, Ability to lift 100 lbs. unassisted
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical
