Non-Certified Chaplain

Description

There is no FTE associated with this position; this is an after-hours position responsible for supportive work providing spiritual and emotional care to patients, families and staff of Swedish Health Services. The after hours chaplain also acts as liaison between patients / families and community clergy. Work performed is expected to be outside of normal business hours on an intermittent and sporadic basis to provide necessary after-hours services to patients, family members, and / or staff.

Required Qualifications :

• Completion of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
• 1 year in ministry
• Experience in a medical setting

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
