At Honeysuckle Home, we care for children in a place that feels like home — not a hospital. Honeysuckle Home is a transitional group home serving at-risk youth with complex medical and emotional needs, ages 0 to 18. Founded to bridge gaps of care during a child’s life, we provide a safe and nurturing home-like environment with 24 / 7 nursing care and mental health support.

As a Paraprofessional , you’ll play a vital, hands-on role in supporting children’s daily care, learning, and emotional well-being. You’ll work under the guidance of licensed staff and be part of a compassionate team dedicated to helping every child thrive.

What You'll Do

• Direct Support & Engagement : Assist children with meals, hygiene, recreation, and daily routines; provide one-on-one or small group support during activities.
• Behavioral & Emotional Support : Implement behavior strategies under staff direction; use trauma-informed responses to help children manage emotions.
• Collaboration & Communication : Share observations with supervisors, join team meetings, and work closely with nurses, social workers, and staff.
• Health & Safety : Maintain a safe environment, follow care plans, and assist with transportation to appointments, school, or outings.
