About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Orthopedic Surgery NP in Colorado!

We are seeking a Locum NP in Orthopedics to provide inpatient trauma coverage while the regular PA staff is out. This is an excellent opportunity to work Monday–Friday, no weekends or call, in a high-acuity Level I trauma environment.

🗓 Schedule & Coverage

• Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Coverage Dates:

  • Feb 9–13

  • Feb 16–20

  • Feb 23–27

  • Mar 9–13

💼 Responsibilities

• Orthopedic consults and inpatient rounding

• Complete H&Ps

• First assist as needed (preferred but not guaranteed)

• Support orthopedic surgeons in providing care

🏥 Practice Highlights

• Adult and geriatric patient population

• 300-bed inpatient trauma setting

• No teaching or resident supervision

• EMR: Epic (training required prior to start)

• Full onboarding support provided

✅ Requirements

• AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA Certified

• Active Colorado license or RN compact license

• Active DEA (transferable or new)

• BLS highly preferred (must obtain before shift start)

• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)

• Clean malpractice and background history

• Must be available for all listed shifts

• Preferred: First assist experience/certification

• Air travel accepted (local providers not considered)

• Preferred lodging required (Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Drury Inn, Staybridge Suites)

• Travel exceptions must be disclosed upfront
