The Sales Application Engineer will work with teams to determine, create, and deliver configured product and system quotations. This position will be directly responsible for understanding customer requirements, determining the proper solution, and delivering a competitive solution in the required time to meet the needs of the customer. This position is also responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company services as well as team members.

Principal Responsibilities And Duties :

• Work with clients to understand the requirements of requested products or systems to be configured and quoted.
• Work collaboratively with agents and customers to align our offering, understand customers' timelines and competitive situation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to make sure all required stakeholders are aligned with the proposed solution and timeline.
• Provide a central point of contact to engage with supporting departments and suppliers as necessary.
• Create quotes and work with sales and product management on agreed margins.
• Work with our in-house system to send reports and commitments to clients.
• Ensure work is delivered to the agreed service level.
• Obtain and maintain current information on market-level pricing and competition.
• Administer orders with special instructions and documentation requirements.
• Expedite project orders and prepare required client reports.
• Communicate with all departments involved in completing quotations.
