- Setting, in collaboration with the MD of Elementary Academics, and maintaining equity-driven vision in bilingual programming and actively advocating for its implementation district-wide;

Curriculum and Resource Development
Leading, managing, and developing a team of Content Specialists to create high quality critical resources and development for campus-based staff on urgent timelines;Hiring, training, managing, and arranging compensation for teachers in stipend-based roles in a manner that aligns with team and organizational goals and standards;Investing stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives, developing strategies and processes, and managing a team of content leaders towards exemplary student achievement in a fluid educational environment;Monitoring and sharing updates to standards, pedagogy, and assessment methodology for Spanish Reading Language Arts and English language development with your team and applicable stakeholders;Setting an explicit standard for rigorous, aligned curriculum designed to reach all learners in our bilingual programming;Providing feedback and coaching to direct reports to create and implement aligned, effective modules and key resources in Spanish.Assessment and Data Analysis
Maintaining expertise in state and college-ready assessment design to set an explicit standard for rigorous, aligned assessment in all content courses;Providing feedback to the team to create summative and common assessments for all courses in English and Spanish;Synthesizing student achievement data on a regular basis to prioritize and adjust the work of your team.Support and Develop Fellow Educators and Leaders
Creating opportunities for collaboration with other Home Office teams, such as Special Populations, College Initiatives, Teaching Excellence, Instructional Leadership, Schools, and Analytics, as well as campus leadership to ensure resource, instruction, and teacher support is aligned;Consistently and frequently observing instruction and student output in classrooms that are using instructional technology to better inform curricular or coaching practice as well as to spotlight best practices district-wide;Regularly designing and / or facilitating professional development sessions for teachers and / or instructional leaders aligned to Elementary Academic team priorities, teacher needs, student data, and / or instructional technology priorities;Setting vision and structure for Content Days aligned to Academic team priorities, teacher needs, student data, and / or content team priorities;Additional duties as assigned.THE PERSON
