WSB is looking for a talented and motivated candidate for solar Civil Design Engineer role to join our renewable energy team. Qualified candidates must be proficient with the detailed design and plan preparation for utility-scale solar projects. If you are civil engineer with design experience looking for that next step in your career as a strong renewable design lead, this may be the position for you.

What you will do :

• Serve as Engineer of Record and assist with project design team management.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and timely completion.
• Demonstrate design ownership
• Involved with the resolution of design challenges and tackle those challenges efficiently by thinking out-of-the-box thinking and using creativity
• Perform design computations and calculations related to the civil site design, mass grading and earth work calculation.
• Review project plans and documentation for accuracy, consistency, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental experts, water resource engineers, electrical engineers, survey, and construction support, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Work closely with the Director of Renewables and the design team to understand technical needs and identify most efficient solution(s)
• Less than 10% travel required for this job
