Position Summary

The ASP.NET Software Developer is a mid-level position reporting to the Sr. Software Engineer in the IT department.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using ASP.NET (MVC / Web API)
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects using SQL Server
  • Participate in code reviews , debugging, and unit testing to ensure code quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate builds, tests, and deployments
  • Document technical specifications and user guides
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development and DevOps workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in ASP.NET (preferably MVC and / or Web API) development
  • Strong expertise in SQL Server , including query optimization and database design
  • Solid experience setting up and managing Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI / CD
  • Proficient in version control systems such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or in progress)
  • Exposure to front-end technologies , e.g., HTML, CSS, Kendo)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, etc.)
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment
