Data Architect TS / SCI FSP

Department : Government Customer- Herndon

Location : Herndon, VA

Data Architect

ACTIVE TS / SCI CLEARANCE with FS poly REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and Implementation : Create and manage database structures that align with user requirements and business needs.
• Performance Monitoring : Regularly monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Data Management : Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and dictionaries; perform data migration and transformation processes.
• Backup and Recovery : Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.
• Collaboration : Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and system administrators to ensure data integrity and support application development.
• Security : Protect databases against unauthorized access and threats, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Documentation : Maintain documentation related to database design, configuration, and performance metrics.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree are preferred with a minimum of eleven (11) year’s relevant experience with the following skillsets :
