Exciting Opportunity : School Speech-Language Pathologist for Early Childhood!

PediaStaff is a leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing, dedicated to connecting passionate professionals with rewarding opportunities since 2004. We are currently seeking a committed Speech-Language Pathologist ($58-$60 / hour) to help early childhood students ages 3-5 in homes and community preschool settings for the remainder of the school year.

Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Oregon state SLP license

Role Overview :

As an SLP, your role will involve developing and implementing individualized education and treatment programs for students with communication challenges due to developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This position allows you to work in a supportive environment, fostering growth in young learners.

Job Details :

  • Location : Primarily southwest Portland
  • Dates : Mid-December to mid-June
  • Hours : 37.5 per week
  • Setting : Homes and preschools
  • In-person only

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and organize specialized materials and environments essential to the speech and language program.
  • Provide educationally related communication intervention for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders across various settings.
  • Assess speech and language skills of students and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives.
  • Offer resources, modeling strategies, and training to other team members in communication interventions.
  • Communicate progress and assessment results with school staff, parents, and, when appropriate, the student.
