Our client is  seeking a hands-on Disaster Recovery Engineer to support and enhance a growing enterprise DR program. This role is perfect for someone who is technical, detail-driven, and passionate about strengthening organizational resilience across all technology layers.

About the Role

As a Disaster Recovery Engineer, you will focus on disaster recovery testing, planning, and continuous improvement of the company’s DR environment. You will work closely with a small, skilled team to mature the existing DR program and build a comprehensive testing framework that spans applications, infrastructure, and cloud workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute, plan, and document disaster recovery (DR) tests across multiple technologies and platforms.
• Build and improve a structured DR testing framework to expand testing coverage beyond isolated components.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to validate recovery procedures and identify gaps.
• Support program maturity by refining runbooks, processes, and DR standards.
• Assist in preparing and presenting DR test results, metrics, and recommendations.
• Participate in incident simulation exercises and drive post-test improvements.
