Director of Accounting

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to lead a team overseeing General Accounting, Revenue Accounting, and Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities

Set and lead the multi-year strategy for Accounting to support company growth and public-company readiness

Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Drive public-company readiness by strengthening internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit preparedness

Required Qualifications

10 to 15+ years of experience, preferably in public accounting and publicly traded companies

Experience leading distributed and international teams with a focus on building scalable organizations

Strong operational accounting experience with a track record of process improvements

Understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements

US GAAP technical accounting fluency, with a CPA preferred
