Warehouse Associate

Job Summary :

Join our dynamic logistics team in the heart of New York City, New York, as a Warehouse Associate. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our urban distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. Maintaining a safe and organized environment is a top priority, and adherence to all Safety protocols and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are comfortable working in a bustling environment and possess excellent organizational skills. Your contribution is vital to ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities :

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments.
• Stock inventory in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Pack items securely and efficiently for transport.
• Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and dollies.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and safe work area.
• Follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines.
• Wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves, consistently.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.

Qualifications :

Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly desirable. Must be capable of frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities are crucial. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. A serious commitment to workplace Safety is non-negotiable. Must be at least 18 years old.
