Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced JControls Installation Technicians for projects located in the Durham, NC area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $26-30 / hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Controls Installation Technician ready to hone your skills while mastering new ones alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope :

Measure, draw, and lay out ductwork and equipment for fabrication and installation

Safely and efficiently install sheet metal systems on active construction sites

Utilize iPad / iPhone for project documentation and communication

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment

Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to complete projects

on schedule

Responsibilities

Minimum of 2–3 years sheet metal installation or fabrication experience preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong problem-solving and technical skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing schedules

Clear and valid driver’s license

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required

Must provide own basic hand tools

Clear background check

Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others

Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards

Proficiency with iPad and iPhone for jobsite use
