Join us and help revolutionize energy for a sustainable future. / ph3Position Summary / h3pAs the EHS Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across all phases of the companyfrom research and development through reactor system manufacturing and commercialization. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., NRC, DOE, EPA, OSHA), developing robust safety processes, and fostering a strong culture of safety across the organization. This role will also lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure that facility operations align with safety, licensing, and production objectives. / ph3How You Will Contribute / h3ulliDesign and implement a comprehensive EHS program tailored for nuclear technology development and operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. / liliOversee operational readiness and regulatory compliance of critical factory infrastructure, including utilities, HVAC, and life safety systems, ensuring these systems support safe and continuous operations. / liliLead the development of safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency response protocols for the reactor manufacturing facility. / liliSupport design and construction of factory infrastructure (e.g., air handling, power distribution, fire protection) to ensure systems are built to meet regulatory and operational readiness requirements. / liliEstablish performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. / liliOversee waste management programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials. / li / ulh3Basic Qualifications / h3ulliBachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. / lili5+ years of EHS experience. / liliStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental permitting. / liliProven leadership in building or scaling EHS programs within early-stage or complex organizations. / liliDemonstrated ability to remain organized and effective in dynamic environments. / liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills. / li / ulh3Preferred Experience / h3ulliMasters degree or certifications such as CIH, CSP. / liliExperience working at DOE or NRC-licensed facilities. / liliWorking knowledge of the NRC allegation process and NQA-1 Quality Assurance. / liliEHS experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, aerospace, defense, chemical, or energy). / liliFamiliarity with ASME and 10 CFR Parts 20, 50, 70, and 73. / liliExperience in radiation safety, radiological controls, or nuclear safety system design reviews. / liliKnowledge of safety case development or PRA (Probabilistic Risk Assessment). / li / ulh3Work Authorization / h3pApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. / ph3Why Join Aalo? / h3ulliLead high-impact programs shaping the future of nuclear energy. / liliCollaborate with top experts in advanced reactors and clean energy. / liliThrive in a fast-moving, execution-driven startup environment. / li / ulpApply now to help accelerate the future of energy. / p / div
