We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This long-term contract position requires an individual passionate about providing exceptional technical support and ensuring reliable hardware and software functionality for end users. The role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on and remote technical support for end-user hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to Windows 10 and Office 365 applications.
- Deploy PCs and build workstations as part of regular equipment upgrades.
- Manage desktop imaging and ensure proper configuration for new systems.
- Maintain and support desktop hardware, ensuring optimal performance.
- Assist with Active Directory user management and related tasks.
- Offer guidance and training to users on system functionalities and software applications.
- Collaborate with team members to implement technical solutions efficiently.
- Document and track issues to ensure timely resolution and maintain records for future reference.
- At least 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
- Proficiency in PC desktop workstation setup and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and its use in user management.
- Experience with desktop hardware maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with Windows 10 & 11 and Office 365 applications.
- Ability to perform desktop imaging and configure systems effectively.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware components and functionality.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
