Accounts Payable Specialist Key Responsibilities

The AP Specialist will manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including high-volume invoice processing and year-end spikes.

Execute weekly check runs, ACH / wire payments, and vendor clean-up projects.

The AP Specialist will handle AP accruals, aging reports, and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Maintain accurate financial records while supporting month-end activities.

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role

Experience with heavy invoice loads and full-cycle AP.

Strong problem-solving skills and accuracy in fast-paced environments.

Proficiency with SAP (preferred), Oracle, Great Plains, and / or QuickBooks.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
