EMR System : Meditech & Dragon

Specialty Backup Available : APPs work between Main ED & Fast Track

Support Staff Available : APPs, Residents (moonlighting)

Reason for Coverage : Supplemental

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Missouri license required

Board : BE / BC in EM, FP, or IM (must have 3 years ER experience); ABEM preferred

DEA : Required

Certifications : ACLS, ATLS (required); PALS preferred

Experience : Minimum 3 years ER experience for non-EM boarded physicians

Other Qualifications : Experience with Meditech & Dragon preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency department coverage

Participate in 12-hour shifts across flexible schedule

Coordinate with APPs between Main ED and Fast Track

Evaluate and manage a diverse patient population

Accept moonlighting residents for coverage support

Accurately document all care in EMR
