Essential Functions :

1. Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as golf carts, lawn mowers, snow blowers.

2. Shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas.

3. Care for established lawns by weeding, grubbing, edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.

4. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.

5. Police grounds and common areas, remove litter daily.

6. Maintain or repair using basic tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools.

7. Mix and spray non-restricted weed killer using hand sprayers, hand pull weeds.

8. Monitor irrigation systems for proper coverage and report issues / breakage, water consumption and to prevent waste.

9. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters or other grounds features.

10. Water lawns, trees, plants or flowerpots or baskets using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.

11. Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds.

12. Rake mulch beds and disposes of leaves / debris.

13. Repair asphalt “potholes” in drives and parking lots.

14. Supports departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.

15. Installation of Holiday décor and lighting throughout the property.

16. Maintain roof gutters and storm sewer drainage system.

These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the position.

2. Heavy workloads requiring the ability exert up to 100 pounds of force and the ability to regularly lift 55 lbs

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities :

1. High School graduate.

2. Landscape experience.

3. Basic hand – power tool experience.

4. Excellent customer service skills, basic mechanical aptitude.
