Position Summary :

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Special Procedures Technologist.

In this role, the successful candidate assists in the performance of medically prescribed radiographs and interventional procedures.

Job Responsibilities :

• Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology.
• Functions as a respectful member of the health care team.
• Maintains supplies and cleanliness of space, restocks supplies as needed.
• Notifies supervisor of any shortage of any supplies.
• Handles stressful situations with little or no supervision.
• Maintains confidentiality on matters to which they are privileged.
• Answers patient questions to ensure understanding and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with physicians, nurses and office and clinical staff.
• Demonstrates skill in equipment set-up, utilization and proper maintenance procedure.
• Implements patient procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
• Effectively assesses patients information and status, and follows appropriate procedure(s) accordingly.
• Performs interventional and general radiographic and fluoroscopic exams for evaluation and treatment by physician.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in interventional radiology.College graduate.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $106,386 - $121,933 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
