We created Spice.ai OSS , a portable AI database written in Rust with a unified SQL interface to query, materialize, and accelerate data from any source, co-located with machine learning models. By bringing compute, data, and models together, Spice OSS enables secure AI-Feedback-Loops (AI-Fly-Wheels) for apps and agents to learn and adapt. We just announced the 1.0-stable release of Spice.ai OSS.

We're also building the Spice.ai Cloud Platform , offering managed, cloud-scale Spice.ai OSS along with tools for high-performance SQL, machine learning training, and inference in an interconnected AI backend-as-a-service.

As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Spice AI, you will play a crucial role in driving go-to-market for the Spice.ai open-source project and the Spice.ai data and AI platform. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that connect with our developer audience.

You've done this before. Your relevant experience marketing open-source, data, and AI products will have previously earned you the respect of open-source and engineering communities. You have published excellent written content, marketing materials, and documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with Spice AI's leadership team to develop, lead, and execute across all areas of Spice AI's product marketing strategy.
• Build and grow an engaged technical community with production of industry-leading technical content, including documentation, blogs, and thought leadership articles.
• Develop partner marketing-related content, post Spice AI content / messaging on partner websites, marketplaces, and other partner-related forums.
• Participate actively in developer forums, events, and conferences.
• Own Spice AI's marketing websites, product newsletters, company blogs and GitHub landing pages.
• Own all social media engagement, ensuring a consistent and impactful presence.

Your first 90 days

This is a hands-on role. Expect to join the entire team, including Spice AI leadership, in building, developing, and marketing the platform.
