Direct Support Professional in Both DSL Locations

Job Title : Direct Support Professional (DSP)

DSL Team : Adult Education

Reports to : Adult Program & IN Academy Manager

Status : FT

Hours : 40 hrs / wk varied (some evenings) (3 days at IN location, 2 days at KY location)

Position Summary :

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive system of support that fosters independence, social engagement, and personal growth for individuals with Down Syndrome.

This position is responsible for planning and facilitating meaningful programming focused on healthy movement, community involvement, and ongoing skill development. In alignment with DSL's mission and values, the DSP emphasizes self-advocacy in all classes and supports participants in building social and independent living skills to promote personal independence.
