Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field

Valid teaching certification / license in Special Education

Prior experience working with students with special needs preferably in an educational setting

Knowledge of current special education laws regulations and best practices

Strong understanding of different disabilities and the ability to tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Patience flexibility and a genuine passion for advocating for and supporting students with special needs
