About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Account Manager (AAM) to actively manage assigned customer accounts, drive quoting activities, and ensure exceptional customer service. This individual contributor role will collaborate closely with Customer Service Representatives, the Sales team, and other ECM staff to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, and support sales growth.

In the first six months, the AAM will work under the guidance of an assigned Regional Sales Manager (RSM), gradually transitioning daily responsibility for managing assigned “tail accounts” or leads within that RSM’s territory. In future phases, the AAM may be assigned accounts or leads across any ECM territory in North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned accounts, ensuring timely quoting and outstanding customer service.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and ECM staff to establish consistent communication with customers, uncovering sales opportunities for products and services.
  • Participate in sales forecasting and planning activities.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate sales data to inform product and service planning.

    • Experience & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical proficiency).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ sales (or other customer-facing) experience in similar industries or with comparable offerings.
  • English fluency required; Spanish bilingual a preference.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver formal presentations to small and large audiences.
  • Based in Mendota Heights, Minnesota with willingness to travel extensively.
  • Interest in potential future relocation to a new territory.
