Patient Admissions Coordinator

The Patient Admissions Coordinator collects, documents, and communicates information relative to patients requiring admission to Swedish Medical Center in accordance with established department policies, procedures, and workflows. This position will work in partnership with the Administrative Nursing Admission Coordinator (ANAC) and in collaboration with multiple departments, physicians, nursing staff, and other key stakeholders on a regular basis. In addition, this job may include other duties as directed.

Required Qualifications :

• Associate's Degree Healthcare related program or Two years of equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting may be accepted in lieu of the degree requirement.
• Or equivalent educ / experience 2 years of job related experience (including, but not limited to ED, critical care, call center, front office) in a healthcare setting
• Applicants without an Associate's degree must have four (4) years of job related experience.
