A highly respected Nashville area general contractor is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of commercial construction projects from concept through completion. You’ll lead planning, budgeting, and coordination efforts while partnering closely with clients, architects, engineers, and field teams. This is a key leadership role with a company that values hands-on management, proactive communication, and true teamwork.

What You’ll Do

Oversee all project phases — preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout.

Lead coordination between office and field operations to keep schedules and budgets on track.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design teams.

Manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.

Monitor financial performance and forecast project costs for maximum profitability.

Ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met in the field.

Mentor project engineers and assistant managers to support long-term team growth.

What You Bring

5+ years of experience managing commercial projects with a reputable general contractor.

Background in sectors such as education, healthcare, mixed-use, or industrial.

Proven ability to deliver projects $10M–$50M+ on time and on budget.

Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
