[job_card.job_description]Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk management. Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for data analysis, log correlation, and threat detection. Thorough understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP. Proven experience in assessing and enhancing security posture across Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) as well as on-premises environments. Demonstrated ability to conduct security control assessments, pinpoint risks, and develop effective remediation strategies. Skilled in translating complex technical security concepts into clear and relevant insights for business stakeholders. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a focus on building trusted partnerships across technical and business teams. Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
We are looking for a dedicated Cybersecurity Risk Management Analyst to enhance our approach to identifying and mitigating security risks across various processes, technologies, and cloud environments.
This role is perfect for a candidate who combines technical skills, business insight, and cybersecurity experience. You will have the opportunity to advise partners, assess risks proactively, and drive initiatives for secure operational practices.
You will need hands-on experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL) , cloud security , and risk assessment methodologies, along with strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
The position is based in our offices located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Salt Lake City.
Responsibilities :
- Support risk strategies by identifying and mitigating security risks associated with banking systems and processes.
- Interpret and apply security policies, offering insights for policy enhancements.
- Guide business and technical partners on security controls, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Conduct assessments of cloud and on-premises environments to identify risks and propose control improvements.
- Perform security control assessments, document findings, and create actionable remediation plans.
- Evaluate third-party vendors to clarify shared security responsibilities and identify related risks.
- Effectively communicate security risks and mitigation strategies to both technical teams and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with various teams to foster secure operations and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
