REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have focused experience in

Drafting and prosecuting utility and design patent applications in Computer/electronics arts (e.g., software, AI/ML/LLMs, telecommunications, integrated circuits, semiconductors, audio processing, batteries and charging systems, power generation, etc.) and/or Mechanical/electromechanical arts (e.g., aerospace, space, consumer products, medical devices, etc.).

Candidates should be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. If an attorney, candidates should be admitted to practice in California. Candidates with a degree or an advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering and/or computer science are preferred, although candidates with degrees in mechanical engineering or other relevant experience will also be considered. Strong experience drafting complex patent applications in any of the technical areas listed above is a plus. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, be comfortable working directly with clients, and possess strong writing and analytical skills.
