A company is looking for a Medical Director - Clinical Advocacy and Support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide physician support to Enterprise Clinical Services operations for clinical review of service requests
Collaborate with leadership and staff to implement and maintain clinical and operational processes related to benefit coverage and quality improvement
Ensure appropriate and cost-effective quality medical care is delivered to members through collaboration with healthcare providers
Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree
Active unrestricted medical license
Board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
At least 3 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
Sound understanding of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)
