Position Details Current Opening : Experienced Dental Assistant for a busy pediatric dental office Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years preferred Have flexibility to work a few later afternoon shifts during the week Must be able to work 2–3 Saturdays per month, 8 AM–1 PM Schedule released 2–3 weeks in advance Location : Must be able to commute to all 3 of our Kansas City area offices : Independence, Waldo, and Midtown (All on the Missouri Side) Bilingual in English and Spanish is a PLUS Why Join The Smile Spot? Great Benefits (Full-time after 90 days) : Health insurance Paid Time Off Holiday Pay 401 (k) with company match Employee Discount Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for treatments / checkups Assist dentists with 4-handed dentistry Set up, sterilize, and maintain instruments / equipment Provide oral hygiene & post-op care instructions Keep treatment rooms clean and stocked Assist with lab tasks Skills & Qualifications Proven dental assistant experience (pediatric experience a plus) Knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Coronal polishing certification a plus Computer literacy (dental software experience preferred) Excellent communication & people skills Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and reliable dental assisting school preferred Additional certifications (e.g., EFDA) are an asset Job Type : Full-time Employment Type : Full Time Salary : $18 - $25 Hourly Bonus / Commission : No
