As a Patrol Unarmed Officer within a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication, contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support the healthcare facility's operations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence. Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required. A guard card or license is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
