The Director of Academic and Career Integration serves as a vital connector between faculty, academic programs, and career development resources. This role is responsible for helping faculty align curriculum with career competencies and outcomes, ensuring that students can clearly identify and communicate the skills they gain through their academic experiences. The director works collaboratively across departments to integrate career readiness into academic experiences, enhancing both student success and post-graduate outcomes. This position will supervise two program managers (for VMock and the Working Learner program - both key initiatives of the strategic plan), and work collaboratively across the division of Student Success and the entire university.

Qualifications

Minimum Hiring Qualifications :

Master's degree and four years of experience; or a combination of education and experience with career readiness, curricular development and / or internships and experiential learning; experience teaching at a college level or working closely with college faculty is preferred.
