Level IV Radio Frequency Design Engineer / RF Design Manager

As the Principle RF Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the future of military / defense equipment and / or applications by actively designing, enhancing, and analyzing RF and mixed signal communications hardware components. This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of Crane Aerospace’s flagship facilities, where you will be engaged in cutting-edge Military & Defense projects. Being at the forefront of designing and developing state-of-the-art Integrated Microwave Assemblies. You’ll be part of an innovative team pushing the boundaries of technology and working hand in hand with Prime OEMs.

Principle RF Design Engineer Responsibilities

Leading the engineering efforts for RF / Microwave / Millimeter communications hardware systems, from technical proposals to prototype development and production. This includes managing performance, customer presentations, schedule, and cost requirements.

Conducting end-to-end systems analysis and utilizing analytical tools, cascade analysis, or up / down converters to model and simulate the performance of circuits or complete systems.

Performing detailed analysis and design of RF and mixed-signal communications hardware components across a wide frequency range, from VHF through millimeter-wave.

Engaging in filter modeling, analysis, and design to ensure optimal performance of RF communications systems.

Principle RF Design Engineer Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred.

Experience in microwave / millimeter-wave design theory

knowledge of RF and mixed-signal design technologies, including receivers, synthesizers, and transmitters.

Integrate Microwave Assemblies (IMAs)

Compensation : Up to $200k+, negotiable – based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits.
