Position Description

Immediate opening for a Dedicated Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, OR and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder.

$1500 or more per week - And it gets better

Average Work Week 35 - 60 Hours

Miles Pay :  $0.65 per Mile with 1600 Miles Per Week All Miles Paid

Stops Pay :  $24.00 per Stop with 12 Stops per Week

Per Diem Pay : $28.00 per night 2 - 4 nights per Week

Paid Training

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician

Deliver SOLO To :  OR, WA, ID, MT

Route : Regional

Tractor Type : Sleeper

Trailer Type :  24', 31', 48' and 53' Dry Van

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Equipment : Manual Pallet Jack and Lift Gate

Endorsements : Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire

We Reimburse Cost to Obtain Endorsements and Provide Training

Freight : Touch -Hardware Retail Deliveries

Driving in inclement weather and chaining required

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :

9 months experience within the past 3 years,

OR

2 years’ experience within the last 5 years,

OR

5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note :

Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
