IHT App Supp Specialist I

Job Summary

We are currently hiring an IHT Applications Support Specialist I for our Applications team , and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this mid-level opportunity is to troubleshoot and resolve common and escalated service requests.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day responsibilities include activities such as :

• Provide end user support of the suite of custom and vendor supplied applications including troubleshooting and resolving problems and documenting application support process flows.
• Consults with internal and external staff to identify current operating procedures, clarify program usage, objectives, functions, and features.
• Provide Tier I and other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
• Gathers details and documentation for all service desk tickets that need to be escalated.
• Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications.
• Provide guidance to end users on how to use applications.
• Monitors performance of programs after implementation.

Competencies

Competencies we value for this role include Ethical conduct, thoroughness, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, organized and have great time management. The incumbent will have 3 plus years of experience in supporting or implementing new software applications. In addition, experience with MS Office Suite, strong computer skills and basic understanding of both Windows and MAC operating systems. Some travel may be expected for meetings, projects or training.
