California Licensed Asset Manager

A company is looking for a Senior Commercial Asset Manager - Energy.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage the commercial operations of a large combined-cycle, natural gas-fired facility and implement daily CAISO bidding and fuel strategies

Provide strategic leadership to enhance operational efficiency and profitability, including energy management and commodity risk management

Conduct financial analysis for decision-making, manage commercial contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications :

Experience in asset management, energy trading, or procurement within the California energy sector

Strong background in combined-cycle, natural gas-fired power plants

In-depth knowledge of California energy markets and regulatory environments

Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities

Proficiency in relevant software / tools for financial analysis and procurement
