Description

As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will play a critical role in providing anesthesia services and support to various healthcare facilities. This position is ideal for individuals looking to expand their skills and contribute to high-quality patient care while working closely with seasoned professionals in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and consultations
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and support
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care
  • Stay informed about advancements in anesthesiology techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current and valid medical license in the state of practice
  • Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety
  • Basic understanding of anesthesia equipment and technology

    • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting

    Schedule : Monday-Friday 7a-5p call shifts 5p-7a Monday-Friday & 24-hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday

    Census : Average 5 admissions 1 inpatient 1 ICU patient daily

    Travel & paid travel expenses included

    Board Certification required
