Senior Manager, Creative Art

Overview

The Global Marketing Engines & Experiences (GME&E) team is driving the marketing transformation of Microsoft’s largest and fastest-growing commercial cloud businesses. We are seeking a Senior. Manager Creative Art to spearhead the visual and storytelling strategy across our commercial social ecosystem. This role will bring brand affinity and audience engagement to life across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Facebook, X, Reddit, and more. You’ll ideate, produce, and evolve social-native creative that resonates with commercial and technical audiences. In this role, you will demonstrate an understanding of internet culture, apply design intuition, and contribute a blend of strategic thinking, creative design, and production capabilities.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Design, Fine Arts, Human Computer Interaction, Visual Communications or related art field AND 4+ years experience in art design or a related art field working on computer games or entertainment. OR equivalent experience.
• Creative portfolio and design samples are required. Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Design, Art Direction, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 4+ years experience in art direction, visual storytelling, or integrated campaign development OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience in social-first content creation, including video, animation, and real-time visuals.
• 3+ years experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or related mobile editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Instagram, TikTok).
• 3+ years experience managing creative projects and agency / in-house creative relationships.

Additional or preferred qualifications

Art IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
