Senior Network Engineer

Title : Sr. Network Engineer – Aruba Wireless Migration to Aruba Central

Location : Onsite in Los Angeles, CA

Employment Type : Contract to hire

Compensation : $60-70 / hr W2 ONLY

Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Network Engineer to lead the end-to-end migration of an enterprise Aruba wireless environment to Aruba Central. This role will ensure a seamless transition, enhanced performance, and improved cloud-based management across a large, complex network environment.

Responsibilities :

Lead migration from Aruba Mobility Controllers to Aruba Central

Assess existing Aruba wireless infrastructure, configurations, and dependencies

Configure and onboard Aruba APs, switches, and gateways

Rebuild or migrate SSIDs, authentication policies, roles, and access control

Integrate Aruba ClearPass for NAC, authentication, and policy enforcement

Conduct wireless surveys, RF assessments, and performance tuning

Validate segmentation, VLANs, DHCP scope alignment, and security posture

Support cutover activities with minimal downtime

Troubleshoot complex wireless performance and connectivity issues

Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and configuration standards

Required Experience :

Strong enterprise wireless networking experience

Hands-on expertise with Aruba Central, ArubaOS, Aruba APs, and Aruba switches

Deep knowledge of ClearPass, RADIUS, NAC, and wireless security

Experience with large-scale wireless migrations

Aruba certifications preferred
