What you'll do

As a Secure Enterprise Engineer you will be responsible for customer support and consulting via telephone, email and in person, software verification testing, sales support, training, and technical writing initiatives for Viasat’s Network Systems products. This will be focused on our family of encryption solutions.

The day-to-day

• Assist with overseeing lab operations, including the setup and configuration of ancillary networking devices, such as routers, switch and firewalls
• Prepare and ship equipment to customers or between Viasat facilities
• Collaborate with development engineers and program leadership for product improvements
• Support technical pre / post-sales activities, as well as technical review of product documentation
• Liaise with our customer community through requirements discussions, leading training courses, providing demonstrations, and resolve chronic issues
• Perform analysis in testing and proposing new features and offerings for Viasat customers

Salary range

$96,500.00 - $152,500.00 / annually.

For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $119,500.00- $179,500.00 / annually
