Bon Secours General Cardiology PA Position - Ghent / Norfolk VA

Bon Secours Cardiology in the Ghent section of Norfolk, VA is adding a General Cardiology PA to their team!

• Practice team requires Cardiology practice experience of 1 to 3+ years
• Practice location is in Norfolk / Ghent 930 W. 21st Street, Norfolk, 23517
• Full time position - Monday through Friday 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM
• Weekend Call is once per month for 4 hours 8 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM at Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth
• APC will take call coverage one night per week
• PA will be seeing scheduled patients, supervising coumadin clinic, order tests, refill prescriptions, triage calls, monitor blood pressure, work with LPN to supervise stress testing
• Support Physicians and work with practice manager and clinical staff to maintain continuity of care for our patients
• Must have experience using / providing EKG, treadmill
• Practice support provided by 2 CMAs, 2 LPN
• Mentorship available
• Practice providers are 2 MD and 1 PA
• Eligible Candidates will have completed their Physician Assistant training and have PA Board Certification, authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
