We are currently seeking a seasoned Custom Home Project Manager who is passionate about the engineering industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the planning, management, and execution of luxury, custom, and residential home projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of high-end residential construction projects, including coordinating with architects, contractors, and clients, ensuring quality control, and delivering on time and within budget.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Custom Home Project Manager, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to :

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.

2. Working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

3. Managing and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth progress of the project.

4. Ensuring the highest quality standards are met in all aspects of construction.

5. Conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.

6. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

7. Preparing and presenting regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.

8. Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

9. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications :

1. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction or engineering industry, with a focus on luxury, custom, and residential homes.

3. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.

4. Excellent knowledge of construction details and quality standards for high-end residential projects.

5. Strong leadership and team management skills.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to work.

7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

8. Proficiency in project management software.

9. A valid driver’s license is required as travel between sites will be necessary.

10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
