We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging childrens intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. Responsibilities
Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriateDesign a daily and weekly scheduleProvide basic care and caregiving activitiesEvaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestonesCommunicate with parents and update them on their childrens activitiesCreates developmentally appropriate lesson plans.Reads to children and teaches them painting, drawing, crafts and songs.Maintains a safe play environment.Dresses children and changes diapers.Observes and monitors childrens play activities.Communicates with childrens parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.Maintains full compliance with center infectious disease controlPerforms general administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and making phone calls.Organizes Student Anecdotal and Observation NotesPrepares and conducts child assessmentsManages classroom staffImplements center curriculumAttends required trainingQualifications
Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare providerStrong understanding of child developmentPatient, kind, and nurturingExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsFirst aid / CPR certifiedExcellent verbal and written communicationInstructingMonitoringSocial perceptivenessService orientationMust have a High School Diploma (GED Equivalent Credential) and Child Development Associate Credential or higher
