This position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of process and packaging equipment from start-up to shut-down. The role involves processing and packaging food to ensure the production of safe, quality food for human consumption. Additionally, the position may involve mixing and cooking candy recipes.

Hours :

1st Shift - 6am to 4 : 30pm

Monday-Thursday

Pay : $20-$24 / hr.

Responsibilities :

• Operate chocolate tempering machines, depositors, enrobers, and other machines involved in food processing and packaging.
• Assemble pipes, pumps, and kettle parts for cooking and mixing candy recipes using common hand tools.
• Follow recipes to accurately weigh ingredients, mix and cook, and measure temperature, viscosity, and brix.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) for various cooking and equipment operation tasks.
• Run both manual and computer-controlled machines, performing setups and changeovers based on daily production needs.
