Our customers view us as a trusted partner in the areas of injection molding, laser processing, metal stamping and device assembly. / ppThe EHS Leader is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety and environmental related programs and procedures in the areas of health, safety, and sustainability for all sites within the operating company. / ph2Responsibilities / h2ulliEnsure operating company compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to health and safety including ISO and OSHA standards and procedures / liliComplete regular audits related to safety compliance and to identify safety, health, and environmental risks / liliManage the operating company Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) database / liliProvide safety support, guidance, and oversight / liliMentor team and leaders in the area of EHS / liliLead workplace safety committees for all operating company sites / liliLead meaningful incident investigations to identify root cause(s), create action plan(s), and ensure implementation of preventative measures / liliLead safety visits / audits including any conducted by OSHA / liliEstablish curriculum, deploy, conduct, and ensure completion of safety training / liliConduct training on proper use of equipment and safety hazards for employees and / or identify other internal experts or third-party vendors to complete these requirements / liliDevelop a sustainable safety culture by engaging the workforce through hazard recognition process and providing support and assistance on procedures / liliManage environmental regulatory compliance / liliInvestigate, educate on and implement effective practices to reduce environmental impact / liliParticipate in Cretex Environmental Sustainability initiatives as operating representative / liliComplete customer or industry environmental initiative and data surveys on behalf of the operating company / liliEstablish and maintain requirements for chemical exposure assessments and hazardous material monitoring to reduce potential of adverse effects to employees and environment / liliFacilitate safety operational excellence (OE) improvement opportunities / liliCoordinate and conduct emergency response and training drills / liliFile required regulatory and customer environmental reports / liliCoordinate with internal experts to properly plan and document safe usage and discharge of hazardous chemicals and waste / liliManage cross-functional teams in the implementation of ergonomics programs / liliPerform indoor air and noise assessments / liliManage required programs such as respiratory protection, hazard communication, hearing conservation, lockout / tagout, forklift safety, safety glasses, etc. / li / ulh2Qualifications / h2ulliBachelors degree in risk management, occupational health and safety, safety engineering, or equivalent experience / lili5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment / liliAbility to travel 20% of the time / liliMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) / liliAbility to influence cross functional teams / liliClear and effective verbal and written communication skills / liliAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment / li / ulpstrongDesirable Criteria Qualifications / strong / pulliOSHA10 or OSHA 30 or related Safety Certifications / liliContinuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and / or organizations / li / ulpstrongPhysical Environmental Demands / strong / ppCretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
