Edison Elementary School District Director of Maintenance, Operations & Transportation (MOT) Edison Elementary School District is seeking a qualified Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation Director to plan, organize, and oversee district MOT services under the direction of the Superintendent. Key Responsibilities : Direct district maintenance, operations, and transportation services Supervise staff and ensure safe, efficient facility and transportation operations Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work as needed Maintain accurate documentation and develop transportation schedules Ensure compliance with safety standards and state / federal regulations Qualifications : Knowledge of school district facility and transportation practices; safety and risk-management requirements; construction techniques and tools Ability to supervise personnel, interpret blueprints, operate various equipment including school buses, and foster cooperative working relationships Experience : Minimum two years of general building / maintenance work; supervisory experience preferred Education / Training : High school diploma or equivalent; additional construction / maintenance training desirable Certification : Valid CA School Bus Driver Certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months Position Details : Salary : $107,609.44 $134,389.45 annually Benefits : $21,249.60 employer-paid health & welfare benefits Work Year : 261 days Employment Type : Full-Time Application Deadline : 12 / 12 / 2025 at 11 : 55 PM Openings : 1 Apply Today : Apply online at https : / / edison.k12.ca.us / MOT
